Two Chester schools come together to perform in Manchester Theatre

(Posted on 17/10/18)

Our drama teacher Natalie is joining forces with Matt, the drama teacher from Queen’s Park High School to create a theatre company of students both schools.

Students of CIS and QPHS are coming together to perform a new play by Rob Drummond called 'Flesh'.

We will be watched by a national theatre director who will give us feedback, then we will perform on the professional stage 'HOME' in Manchester. There, the organisers will select one version of each of the new plays to be performed on a National Theatre stage in London.

The competition will be tough, as we are up against 80 other schools/youth theatres.

There are only 15 places in the play and auditions are next Wednesday at QPHS in the drama studio between 4:15-5:15.

If any aspiring actors and actresses are intertesed in auditioning, please see Natalie for a letter.
